Bikini Beach player hospitalized during Overwatch Open

Bikini Beach has forfeited their match against Melty eSports Club from Group A loser’s bracket. This because one of the players was hospitalized.

The reason for the hospitalization is still unknown, but casters announced on-stream about this. At the moment the casters did not say which player was hospitalized but is is confirmed now that the player is Michael “michr” Rosen.

Because of this, Melty eSports Club is going to move to the loser’s bracket finals to play against Misfits later today. At the moment neither team has made an statement about the situation. This forfeit officially eliminates Bikini Beach from the Overwatch Open.

Casters said that the player “had to go to the hospital”. So we can only hope that it is nothing too serious. But the truth is that they lost their spot on the tournament because of this. As of now nobody else has said anything about the current situation of michr.
