Dignitas roster has changed. They dropped numlocked and art1er and replaced them with evokje and Veineless. This comes after a series of dissapointing performances by the team.
The last few weeks have not been good ones for Team Dignitas. They failed to get out of the group stage in the Atlantic Showdown and Overwatch Open. And after that their following performances had not been good enough. The roster they used in the DreamHack Winter qualifiers is going to be permanent as some sources confirmed. This means that supports evokje and Veineless are here to stay. We will probably see the announcement in the next few days.
Even with the new Team Dignitas roster, things are not going that well. They had a great start at the online qualifiers of DreamHack Winter. They beat The Chavs and GamersOrigin. But, after that, they lost to NWA and The Gatekeepers. An irony, though, considering that NWA is the former team of both evokje and Veineless.
On the bright side, these results probably were because of the sudden new additions. We can expect Team Dignitas roster to take a bit of time to adapt to each other. We might even see positions and role swaps within the team. This would not be a problem since most of the players are flexible.
Team Dignitas roster after the changes
- Marcel “Veineless” Lehmann (support)
- Elvinas “evokje” Padegimas (support)
- Rasmus “Draceus” Waern (tank)
- Joshua “ToxikeN” Campos (flex)
- Jose Antonio “BromaS” Ramos Glez (dps)
- Jiri “LiNkzr” Masalin (dps)
As of now neither the team nor the players have made any announcement. We expect them to talk about this soon.
