Rise Nation, the organization known in the CoD scene, signed the team formerly known as Gecko OW.
The eSports organizations interested in Overwatch competitive scene keeps growing. This time, Rise Nation, an eSports company coming from Call of Duty, acquired an Overwatch roster. Gecko OW from North America will be playing under their banner.
A Rise Nation representative stated through Facebook that he talked to the 6 members of Gecko OW. They seem to be really excited for the opportunity to show themselves to a wider audience. They believe that they have what it takes to become one of the top Overwatch Teams.

Rise Nation was interested in Gecko OW after seeing them get a spot by themselves to the Overwatch Open. They also mention their coach, Winlogon and how he helped them to get that spot. It is good to see both the organization and the team so excited about this new venture.
They did not have to wait long to show what they are capable of. They faced compLexity in the Overwatch Open, and, as a surprise for everybody, they actually beat them. It has to be the biggest surprise in the tournament so far.
So, with this demonstration, we can only expect great things from them. This is definitely a team to follow, for it might be one of the top teams in a few months.
